There are a few key ways to get the best out of your Wild Books candles.

1. The first burn

On the first burn, allow the wax melt pool to reach the edge of the glass jar. This will be around 2-3 hours.

This will prevent tunnelling - where your wax only burns around the wick in a smaller core, therefore not using all of the wax.

2. Trick your wick

Between each burn, make sure you trim your wick down to approx 3-5mm. You can do this with the Wild Books Wick Trimmer.

This will reduce any sootiness and give a clean burn.

3. Extinguish your flame

After approx 2-3 hours, extinguish your flame with a candle snuffer. This will reduce smoke caused by blowing the candle and keep the scent of the candle in the room for longer.

You can do this with the Wild Books Candle Snuffer.
